Practicing real estate in any State entails a few requirements which prepare you thoroughly for becoming a successful real estate broker. A State License Examination has to be passed. The real estate pre-licensing requirements would help your selection of the proper course to study. It could be a classroom study, a combination of class and online home study or a straight online course.
The classroom real estate pre license class has morning and evening classes for five days which help you finish the course in even 2 weeks. Should this be inconvenient, you could opt for either the morning or evening classes finishing in 4 weeks. A success in the State conducted licensing examination is assured. A student may continue his real estate pre license class beyond 4 weeks if necessary till he passes the examination. Each week deals with one of the four subjects: realty and personal law, agency and federal laws, finance and appraisal and the respective state laws. Different segments are handled each morning and evening to help the students decide on which sessions to attend. A minimum of 11 days of real estate pre license class are required by State Laws. A completion certificate would be obtained only after the four subjects are thorough. The real estate pre licensing cram course shortens the study to its minimum but still efficient. It includes 5 full days of classroom instruction combined with 6 days of home study, a total of the 11 days required by State laws. The easier subjects of Agency and Federal Laws are kept for home study. An examination is held by the institute conducting the study. If successful, you are issued the completion certificate which paves the way for you to take the State real estate pre licensing examination.
Real Estate Appraisal Course.
This is a course which is necessary to secure the broker or real estate appraisal license in a particular State. Should you have held a real estate broker’s license in another state or had 2 years’ experience in the field or taken a similar course, this course may be waived for you. The course of study is all home study and simplified and there is no time limit to complete it. This real estate appraisal course gears up people for the internship under a licensed appraiser, this being mandatory for their real estate appraisal license.
